On the morning of September 29, 2020, POSCO-VIETNAM Company cooperated with the Phu My Town Study Promotion Association to hold the 14th scholarship award ceremony for disadvantaged children at the Hall of the People's Committee Phu My Ward.

The attendees of the ceremony were Mr. Yun Hoon, the President of POSCO VIETNAM. On behalf of the local government, there was a presence of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam - Vice Chairman of Phu My Town.

POSCO VIETNAM awarded 90 scholarships in cash and notebooks to students from more than 60 schools in the area. In which, the company awarded 30 awards to primary school students, awards for middle school students, and 20 awards to high school students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Yun Hoon - President of POSCO-Vietnam shared “If you dream of being a football player, let dream of playing in the World Cup. If you have a dream, let dream of a big dream to challenge yourself, to overcome yourself, and achieve higher goals. I hope with these scholarships that will help you all fulfill your dreams and let use the awards usefully.”

In the future, POSCO-Vietnam will continue accompanying with the local authorities to maintain the scholarship program to support more students with a difficult life to achieve good results in the study, in order to contribute to the development of Ba Ria Vung Tau province and country.
